Sydney, NSW – Lunar New Year was celebrated by DASCO at the Danks St District display suite in Waterloo on Saturday 28 February, welcoming many guests across the day.

The event brought together over 200 guests for a culturally immersive experience, showcasing the vision and lifestyle of Danks St District.

Guests moved through the display suite experiencing a curated mix of Asian-inspired bites, specialty drinks and desserts, creating a vibrant, social atmosphere. Following lunch, a traditional lion dance performance filled the space with movement and cultural symbolism while celebrating prosperity and new beginnings.

Guests received special red pockets along with Danks St District–themed merchandise, creating meaningful moments throughout the event that celebrated the traditions of Lunar New Year.

The event also encouraged guests to explore the precinct vision firsthand, with guided walk-throughs of the Danks St District display suite led by the sales team at Whome Group. As part of the event, the sales team engaged in one-on-one conversations with prospective buyers, where tailored purchase incentives were discussed to support buyer interest and decision-making.
