More than 2,500 community members pre-registered for the event to enjoy a day of live entertainment, local market stalls, and family-friendly activities, alongside delicious highlights including freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters, free ice cream, and food vouchers redeemable at local-favourite stalls at the venue.

Visitors were welcomed at the information desk, where they gained insight into the Danks St District masterplan. Whilst our friendly sales team at WhomeGroup hosted exclusive tours of our display suite across the road – strong interest was shown by prospective buyers, reflecting growing excitement for this future connected and culturally rich neighbourhood.

The event also featured a smoking ceremony led by Bangawarra, DASCO’s Connection to Country consultants, and the announcement of a public art collaboration between artist Keg de Souza and DASCO, transforming oyster shells from the festival into a meaningful artwork celebrating place and materiality.
