This Christmas season over 200 people gathered for the Parramatta Street Feast at St Patrick’s Cathedral Hall, Parramatta, and Sydney Street Feast at St Mary’s Cathedral. The event celebrates the World Day of the Poor and welcomes the homeless and those on the fringes of society to share a meal and a conversation and enjoy some lively entertainment by the Sydney Street Choir. DASCO staff volunteered on behalf of St Merkorious Charity to serve food and assist on both days. The event answers the call to building a more inclusive, welcoming and generous community.
